Eastern Area Wins The 2017 Pentangle
This year Toni was selected for the Eastern Area Longbow Pentangle Team and Won!
Fantastic Result, well done Toni!

The Pentangle is a historic competition which the Eastern Area hosted this year, it is contested between the 3 Scottish Areas (North, Eastern and West), Durham and Northumberland and Cumbria. The format was a WA1440 round incorporated into day 2 of the Penny Challenge, on the 18th of June.
Teams are made up of 4 archers in each category (female recurve, male recurve, compound female, compound male and mixed longbow). However only the top 3 scores from archers in each category are used for determining the winners.
The results were are follows;
Female Recurve - Eastern Area
Male Recurve - Eastern Area
Female Compound - Eastern Area
Male Compound - Cumbria
Longbow - Eastern Area
Overall Winners - Eastern Area

Outdoor Season 2017
Phyllis is the Lady Recurve Scottish Field Champion!
Phyllis continues her great start to the outdoor season by winning the Lady Recurve category at the Scottish Archery Field Championships, she also took the Bronze medal for the Argyll Field Archers Open Competition.
Fantastic result, congratulations Phyllis!
What a great start to the outdoor Season for Phyllis at this year's Silver Arrow Competition.
The Silver Arrow is Scotland's most prestigious and ancient archery competition with a history stretching back over 400 years and was held on Sunday16 April.
Congratulations Phyllis on winning the Ladies Recurve Silver medal.

This year we had our Indoor Championships on the same night as the postal League and we had some great results!
