About the Club

Falkirk Company of Archers was established in September 1971 although we believe that archery was practised in Falkirk in the early 1930's.

Falkirk Company of Archers is affiliated to the Scottish Archery Association (SAA) which is a region of the national governing body - Archery GB.

Some of our club members have shot at Scottish and British Team level and one of our members - Moira Taylor was the British Olympic Team Manager. We also have members who play an important role in coaching throughout Scotland and also in the administration of SAA and ArcheryGB.

Our club shoots indoors from September to April in Central Falkirk and Outdoors at Westquarter & Redding Cricket Club in Brightons from April to September. Our main club evening is a Wednesday (7-9pm outdoors & 7.30-10.30pm indoors). We also shoot on a Monday evening (6.45- 9.00pm indoors, times by arrangement outdoors). We have a Coach on duty each Wednesday to help and support all club members.

We are an inclusive club and welcome members who want to shoot competitively and also those who enjoy the more social side of archery.
